I found all the blogs I read very interesting but the two that stood out to me were “Small Business TRENDS” by Anita Campbell and “People” by Charlotte Triggs. The blog about small business guides you on every step of the way on how you should get started, how to market your business, and how to budget. It's the perfect blog to start a business. I like how organized it is and there's so many options to choose from to read. An interesting thing is they have a business calculator and it's super easy to use! Using this business loan calculator is very simple and easy. All you have to do is adjust the sliders of the business loan calculator for “Loan Amount,” “Interest Rate (%),” and “Term” to view your estimated monthly payment and total cost of the loan. Published from the article showing how easy it is to use. The author's purpose is to give advice in a beginner's way. I know the author's choices regarding her images and to help visualize her audience on what's going on in the article. Her style of organization in her website is most useful for beginners because it gives the audience a step by step and which topic you want to learn more about, it's easily accessible. The blog about People is mostly celebrity gossip. It has no educational use, The blog is not organized at all, there's different stories in small places. Plus it is crammed with ads nonstop. It's hard to scroll through without an ad video popping up taking me to a different website if you don't properly exit it. The author's choices of images is to have the audience intrigued to click on it to read. Although it might have some good gossip it has irrelevant stuff such as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kissing on the field. Kelce and Swift, both 34, shared a sweet kiss on the field as the Kansas City Chiefs celebrated their big win over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship. This was quoted by the blog "PEOPLE", this blog is clearly only celebrity news and gossip!
You have provided some good insights on the different aspects of each blog that you (dis)liked. Don't forget that before you jump into analyzing and considering the blogs themselves, you first need to set up the post, establish the context, and invite the reader into the conversation. Also, you need a "sign off" that gives the post a sense of closure and completion.
ReplyDeleteBreaking your post into chunks/paragraphs can help you to organize your entry and ensure you have the necessary aspects in place: setup/point/sign off.
